Meet Dr. Merrett 

Dr. Merrett practiced in California for 3 years, and then moved to Hawaii. He started and practiced in his own private practice in Maui for 19 years. Dr. Merrett moved to San Antonio to be closer to family. He loves that San Antonio is a growing city, and has much to offer. 

His philosophy is when it comes to Dentistry, "Health" is the  most important factor. After health, the next important factor should be function, (how the teeth work), and finally it is beauty. He believes that these are foundations of a healthy mouth.

We utilize the latest technologies in the field of cosmetic dentistry, including: 

  1. Digital x-rays that emit less radiation 

  2. Diode lasers to contour gum tissue

  3. Smile imaging 

  4. In-office teeth whitening

  5. and more.

We use an Itero scanner to help document the mouth, and eliminate the discomfort of using impression material.  

​

We also offer San Antonio's latest in neuromuscular technology, including electro sonography, electromyography, computer tracking of jaw position, to name a few.

In keeping true to our mission of making our patients as comfortable as possible, we offer different types of relaxation methods such as

  1. Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas)

  2. Oral sedation, 

  3. and IV sedation.

Some of our popular procedures include porcelain veneers, bonding, whitening, orthodontics (Invisalign), gum contouring (Laser), implant placement and restoration.

In addition to these, we offer a full range of complex restorative treatments, such as:
